Name - Bridger Champion
Position - Head Groomsman, Ruperra Castle
Date of employment - late 19th / early 20th c.

Bridger Champion first served with Godfrey Morgan at Aldershot, as his 'batman'. He later became head groomsman at Ruperra Castle, the family's other residence.
Bridger Champion was obviously held in high regard by Godfrey, as his war charger Sir Briggs was named after him. Viscount Tredegar also presented Champion with a gold tie pin featuring a cameo head of Sir Briggs, which is still in the family today.
